My name is Deborah but my friends call me Rain, and you can too if you want to! I am 25 and live in the beautiful state of Arizona. If you have never been here I highly recommend coming and visiting. It is so much more then a desert and I absolutely love living here.

I am a mother of 3 adorable dogs! I have two chihuahua boys and one St. Bernard/Boxer mix. It is a unique combination but a hilarious one! They are often my models and have gotten used to the camera in front of mommy’s face. lol

I own a professional photography business called Life & Rain Photography (notice a theme here) and I travel anywhere to do sessions and weddings. Check out my portfolio! I blog about my work there all the time but I found that I have so much more to say about lots of things! That’s where this blog came up, here I can blog about all the other things I care about.

I have a lot of passions in my life. In fact I heard a verse in a song once saying she was passionate about being passionate. And I knew that was the perfect way to describe me. I have a lot of loves and favorites in my life, here are a few

Now why did I pick the name The Rain Notebook? Well by now I’m sure Rain is quite obvious, but why the ‘notebook’? I’m sure you’ve seen The Notebook, and if you haven’t you need to stop reading run to the nearest movie store and rent it. This is a must see movie! Anyways if you have seen it, you know that it is a very emotional and romantic movie. And thats what I am… an emotional hopeless romantic. (that makes me sound so pathetic!) lol

Being the hopeless romantic I am helps me to see so much in life that I think other people take for granted and I’m grateful for that. That is one reason why I love being a wedding photographer. To watch two lives become one fills me up with so much love and gives me goosebumps! I love it!!
