The Rain Notebook

That is our day today. We have a list a mile long inside and outside of the house, and not enough hours in the day to do it. I must admit all winter long I’ve been very lazy and quite unmotivated. It was winter, I wanted to be outside but it was too freakin cold. Now its warm and I’ve been working a little outside but everything is still a mess.

As winter set in so did my laziness. I mean what’s the point of everything looking good outside if its too cold to go actually enjoy it? I know that its still nice to keep a clean and presentable yard but I was too stubborn all winter to go out and clean it.

Well today is the day to go out and get to work! I am blogging this as I check my facebook page and emails drinking my coffee. Right before I go to wake up my honey and to tell him to get to work. I have to do the same thing. Between the two of us we just may have a great looking yard and house by the time the day is through.

• On the list is the set up the new chicks mini coop.
• Clean up the trash bags of crap I collected yesterday
• Make a trip to the dump
• Do the 16 loads of laundry (not sure if its 16 but it sounded like a good number)
• Get the guest room set up for guests
• Get swing cleaned off and ready for sitting

Heck maybe this Tuesday I can be the hosting house… finally! :P
