Big Plans – I’ve got big plans
I always have big plans, don’t I? Well I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about myself and my diet and have come to learn in the past few months how healthy foods can be very enjoyable.
Now I’ve always been one to eat some what healthy, I’ve always grown up with shitaki and reshi mushrooms and such but my diet hasn’t always incorporated this. After my diet I discovered that I can eat “normal” foods and still enjoy myself as well help my body in the process.
Our culture is filled with overly processed foods that zap nutrients, as well as adding preservatives that we just don’t need. Now before you start thinking I’ve turned into a crazy lady I want to say that I’m definitely still the kind of person that will go out and grab something from McDonalds if I want to. But these are indulgences that I choose to make instead of letting my life revolve around them.
So what am I telling you all this? There is a good reason why… I swear! I want to let you know what I’ll be mostly blogging about in the food category. I’ve posted some recipes from the diet I was on but now that I’m off of it I’m still finding myself making these healthy choices still.
So over the next few months I will be taking some of my favorite not so healthy recipes and converting them to more healthy recipes. Evey now and then you may see a indulgent recipes but for the most part you will see recipes that are more natural and less sugar and carbs then the traditional recipes. I’m excited to finally have a cause to my food blog and I hope you will be too!!

That sounds great! I would love to eat healthier myself and if I can find some things here I already love but with a healthier twist, I’d be really excited to try them!
