End of Summer
10/02/09
It is now the end of summer. With the coming of the fall and the cooler temperatures comes the death of my garden. This is a bittersweet time for me. I’m sad to see my garden go yet it allows me a few months to get the garden ready for next year. I plan and plot how I can get my garden even bigger then the year before.

Of course this year is no different. However this year I am actually going to do it and not just talk about it! Some of the things on the list is the following:
- Perfect the rain water collection so I can water my garden just on rain water
- Build a chicken coop
- Double the size of the last vegetable garden
- Build my rose garden
- Build a couple of raised flower beds
- Clear the entire lot next to us to increase our yard space
- FINALLY create an outdoor entertaining area
I can probably think of a few other things but these are the most important things on my list. Besides this list, there are plenty of things to do during the colder months, from planting trees to pruning. So I’ll be sharing with you my tips, tricks and progress.

Your garden is already so beautiful! I think next year will be amazing!
Stormy – Next year WILL be amazing. I have big plans… big plans. (in the voice of Roger from American Dad) (which by the way you need to start watching too) :)
